Kimberlie's murder has left behind her infant Son to grow up without his Mother in his life

Kimberlie was shot to death by her common-law husband, Geraldo Rubi Mendez, 27.

According to police, Mendez had previously abused Kimberlie and had been arrested in the past on a charge of assault against her.

He was sentenced to 46 years in prison after he pled guilty to her death.
